Parenting Task Force Partner

There is a volunteer job opportunity in our community that must be filled SOON!

The Parenting Task Force Leader of Partnership for Healthy Youth (PHY) is in search of partners.

Applicants should:

• be actively involved with raising their child/children.
• understand the importance of effective parenting. 
• value the parent programs that are offered to all parents in need of support and information in doing the most difficult and important job any of us will ever be asked to do. 
• be willing to collaborate with others to maintain existing programs, while brainstorming ideas for new programming to meet the needs of this community.
• be looking for the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the community in which he or she lives.

What exactly would a "partner" have to do?

What is the time commitment?

Can the job be done during the day?

Are evenings a requirement?

PHY has made great progress in the past year. Our programs have served over 2,500 youth and over 300 families in our community in the past 4 years.

More work remains.

Our momentum is forward-moving and we are in need of your help. Commit to do one or more of the following:

Advertise PHY parent resources and encourage participation.
Pledge to send one person from your organization to monthly PHY meetings.
 

Help plan and man PHY-X

Attend a PHY meeting. Meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month.
