Safe Homes

What is SAFE HOMES?

SAFE HOMES is an organized network of informed and involved parents who are committed to the safety, protection and supervision of children in grades K-12. This family resource tool provides a way for parents and children to form healthy relationships with other families in the district. The SAFE HOMES network gives parents the opportunity to openly talk to other parents. Through casual conversation, parents establish reasonable guidelines and set age-appropriate limits on the behaviors and activities that their children do together with other children.
SAFE HOMES is an agreement between parents to communicate with each other and to talk to their children about their actions, behaviors, and the choices they make every day.

The SAFE HOMES pledge form will be coming home with your child in their folder. To be part of the parent network, fill out the pledge form and return it to school by September 15th 2010. If you have any questions please contact Shanna Cornuet at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or 484.886.8437.

A SAFE HOMES directory will be developed.
Families involved will also have access to important resources, guest speakers, and webinars on information pertaining to parenting, child development and growing healthy families.
