Vision

An energized, safe and unified community committed to the healthy development of our youth, families and neighborhoods

Mission

To mobilize the Great Valley community to heighten awareness of risky behaviors and focus on solutions. To bridge community resources and efforts that promote healthy youth and families.

PHY is not about kids using drugs.

PHY is about preventing kids from using drugs
and enabling them to make healthy choices.

PHY utilizes an operating system called Communities That Care (CTC). CTC is a nationally recognized system used in hundreds of communities nationwide and around the world.

CTC focuses on knowing the conditions that increase AND decrease the likelihood of youth involving themselves in risky behaviors (known as risk factors and protective factors).

The knowledge of these risk and protective factors, specific to the Great Valley community, enables PHY to target its funds and efforts in an effective and outcome-oriented direction.
